Autumn Wedding in Plettenberg Bay
Although the Plettenberg Bay climate can be somewhat unpredictable for a wedding, especially at the turn of autumn, Ellen and Brendan were fortunate to only have to contend with a mild to strong Easterly on what turned out to be one of the most special days of their lives together. A fantastic setting made their wedding day all the more memorable, especially for the scores of their international guests that flew in to witness the occasion. Once again we’ll let the pictures do the talking…. Enjoy.
A palate of dark-brown, ivory and gold trim perfectly set the mood for the vintage-travel themed wedding. With guests arriving from England, Holland, Germany, South Africa and Belgium the tables were aptly named.

Even the wedding cake was masterfully crafted to appear as international luggage. Each layer was a different cake, chocolate, vanilla and red velvet. Delicious!

The interior of The Lemon Grass Seaside Restaurant was bedecked in fairy-lights that created an ambiance of opulence and fantasy, quite befitting such a beautiful themed-wedding.

The dance-floor in like manner was lit up with fairy-lights and later, after the first dance, lasers, strobes and smoke turned it into an Ibiza nightclub that kept all guests on the floor without ceasing.
